Scope and service boundaries

ChinaEvidence provides evidence-led research and decision support. The exact scope of each engagement is agreed in writing before work begins.

What a research engagement may include

• Clarifying the business question and evaluation criteria.
• Researching relevant companies, products, manufacturing or industrial capabilities.
• Organising source-linked findings and comparing candidates against agreed criteria.
• Identifying evidence gaps, limitations and practical follow-up questions.
• Human review of findings before delivery.

What it does not include by default

Unless expressly included in a separate written agreement, research does not constitute procurement agency, supplier negotiation, engineering design or technical approval, certification, quality assurance, inspection, logistics, or ongoing supplier management.

Evidence and decisions

Research reflects the information available within the agreed scope and at the time it is reviewed. A source reference or verification mark describes the review performed; it is not a guarantee that a supplier or product will perform as expected. Clients remain responsible for technical, commercial, legal and procurement decisions.

Fees, timing and deliverables

Industry-specific scope, deliverables, fees, timing and any third-party responsibilities are confirmed in writing for each engagement. FilterEvidence Australia has its own defined service scope and terms; those terms do not automatically apply to other ChinaEvidence work.
